Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in Wales in 2018. With over 8 years of
experience, she brings a diverse and well-rounded background to the clinic, having worked across the National Health Service, Private
Practice, and Elite Sport settings.
Lauren brings extensive clinical experience from her work in Specialist Orthopaedic Clinics, including Acute Knee, Shoulder/Elbow, and
Foot/Ankle, where she collaborated closely with consultants to deliver high-quality patient care. Additionally, she spent over 4 years with
Barnsley FC Academy, providing pitch-side assessment and managing return-to-play rehabilitation for developing athletes. This role enabled
her to integrate clinical expertise with the performance demands of competitive sport, enhancing both recovery outcomes and athletic
development.
Lauren has a strong focus on both pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, with a particular interest in ACL recovery. She is passionate
about creating evidence-based, innovative, and engaging rehabilitation programmes tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying active in the gym, hiking and unwinding with a good cup of Yorkshire Tea!
