Jointli strives to deliver patient-centred and specialised care of the highest quality at a reasonable cost. Certain consults and procedures attract additional fees and rebates. The final fee will depend on the duration and complexity of your presentation. The fees outlined below are a general guide and are subject to change.  We are a private-billing practice.

Payment of fees and claiming rebates  

Full fees are payable at reception by card or cash immediately after your consultation. A credit card and debit card surcharge of 1% will be applied to all EFTPOS transactions. 

If you have a Health Fund card, staff will submit your claim immediately via the HICAPS terminal and payment of the difference is due. 

If you have a Medicare card, staff will submit your claim immediately online, and the rebate will be paid directly to you. We do not bulk-bill concession card holders. 

Other fees and cancellations

Extra fees may apply to some services such as medical procedures, knee braces and extended sessions. Your practitioner will discuss any extra costs. 

In order to manage patient care and workflow, we require a minimum 12-hour notice period to cancel or change your appointment. Late cancellation fees apply.

A note on our fees

Today's Health Funds and Medicare rebates do not cover the full cost of providing you with safe and high quality medical care.  Jointli seeks patients' understanding as it would not be possible for the practice to meet the running costs and provide the best service for our patients without making amendments to Jointli's fees and billing policy.
