Dr. Brett Fritsch (Orthopaedic Surgeon) Dr. Brett Fritsch is a specialist knee surgeon with expertise in robotic knee replacement, ACL and ligament reconstruction, patella instability, and limb realignment (osteotomy). With over 15 years of experience, he has performed more than 5,000 knee surgeries and published over 40 peer-reviewed research papers. He is internationally recognised for his contributions to knee surgery and has been an invited speaker at major conferences worldwide. Dr. Fritsch is a Director of the Sydney Orthopaedic Research Institute, Chairman of the Knee Sports and Preservation Committee for ISAKOS, and the Research Lead for Orthopaedic Robotics at the Institute for Academic Surgery at RPA Hospital. He completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney, followed by fellowships at Duke University (USA) and the Alps Surgical Institute (France).
Dr. Nico Furlan, PhD (Strength & Conditioning Coach) Dr. Nico Furlan is a Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach and Clinical Leader of the Athletic Performance Program at Jointli. With a PhD in Sport Science, he specialises in return-to-sport testing, ACL rehabilitation, and elite athlete training. His experience includes working with the Chinese Olympic Committee, Sydney Orthopaedic Research Institute, and multiple international sports teams. Dr. Furlan’s expertise lies in developing structured rehabilitation and performance strategies, working closely with athletes to optimise their recovery and return to peak performance. His approach integrates objective testing, injury prevention, and long-term athlete development.
