Annie Stanway

Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy

Annie graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2023.

She began her career within the National Health Service as a rotational physiotherapist, gaining experience across a variety of clinical areas including orthopaedics, stroke and neurological rehabilitation, and elderly care. This broad experience helped Annie develop a strong foundation in assessment, clinical reasoning, and rehabilitation while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients throughout their recovery.

Annie later discovered a strong passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and moved into outpatient MSK practice, where she treated a wide range of conditions including sporting injuries, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, and post-operative rehabilitation. She enjoys helping patients progress through every stage of recovery, from managing pain and restoring movement to building strength and confidence to return to the activities they love.

Originally from the UK, Annie recently relocated to Sydney after several months of travelling and is excited to continue growing her clinical skills while embracing the city’s active outdoor lifestyle.

Outside of the clinic, Annie enjoys staying active through soccer, running, and competing in HYROX events. When she’s not training, you’ll likely find her exploring Sydney’s beaches, coastal walks, and coffee spots.
